What is an Electro Magnetic Field (EMF)?

An Electromagnetic Field is a physical field produced by electrically charged objects. It
is one of the fundamental forces of nature. The field can be viewed as the combination
of an electric field and a magnetic field. The electric field is produced by stationary
charges and the magnetic field by moving charges referred to as currents. The
magnetic field is measured in milligauss (mG).

Our sauna products have been developed to have low EMF measured at 2 inches from the heating elements.

  • Our Low EMF carbon infrared heater range between an average of 5 mG to 10 mG.
  • Our Ultra Low EMF carbon infrared heater range between 3 mG  to 5 mG.
  • Our Near Zero EMF Full Spectrum infrared models range at less than 3 mG.
  • Our Near Zero Near Infrared  heaters range at about 5 mG to 7 mG.

For comparison, below is a chart with common sources of EMF to which you may be exposed.
